ScholarPress Courseware has been downloaded 460 times since its initial public release last fall. We’re in the process of updating the plugin with bug fixes and new features. In the meantime, we’d love to know what you’re currently doing with the plugin, so if you’re using it for a course (or anything else!) please leave us a comment with a link to your site!
I have been searching for a tool to help me manage, create and deliver online continuing ed courses in blog format for over a year now.
Now I’m just assigning reading and comments here, at http://www.raincityguide.com
I can’t believe I found you.
Once I get my two other blogs up and running, I will start using scholarpress asap.
BTW, I found this site while searching for a WP schedule plugin.
I have writen to you in the past and you have been very helpful. Your new version seems to address some of the problems I had in that I am able to add assignments, schedules, etc. but I am at a loss of how to make this visable to the viewer. Could you please help? Do you think it is still a hosting problem? I very much want to use this tool and to offer it to our faculty.
Thank you.
Thanks very much for the great plugin.
Can you tell me if there is any php tag or code in order to insert the bibliography items into a page or post? That would be really helpful!
Thanks in advance,
R
It seems to be failing miserably for me in WPMU. Lots of errors when adding scheduled events and I can’t even put in a due date when an assignment is due. Also, the option is for military time, which is a bit annoying.
Let me know if you need screenshots so I can help you out.

I’ll investigate and let you know what the problem is. I’m actually in the middle of a rewrite of much of Courseware’s underlying code to clean it up, and I’m coming across a few problems in the process.
Screenshots would be helpful, too.
Cheers,
Dave

WordPress DB Error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE field="assignments_type"' at line 1]

Hi Bond,
Glad you’ve got Courseware up and running. We’ve unintentionally not internationalized the plugin, but should in a future version. I’ll look to see if there’s an easy fix and let you know if there is.
Thanks,
Dave
Thank you! I’m looking forward to the new one. ^_^
