We just released version 1.0.2 of ScholarPress Courseware. After several requests, we changed the plugin so that it works when all files are in a ’scholarpress-courseware’ directory instead of a ’spcourseware’ directory. In other words, when you download and unzip the plugin from the WordPress plugin repository, it should already be in a ’scholarpress-courseware’ directory, and you simply move that directory into your installations plugins directory. If you’re using version 1.0.1 in a directory named ’spcourseware’, you’ll just need to delete that folder and upload the new folder, and activate the plugin again. While we made no modifications that affect the database, as a precaution, we advise you back up your database before updating.

A few other additions:

We added a calendar button to the schedule entry page, making it easier for you to find and add a date for a schedule entry

We updated the default CSS that comes with the plugin, which helps with the formatting of bibliographic items on your bibliography and schedule pages.

We’re continuing to make improvements to Courseware, thanks to many folks who have offered feedback and have been willing to try the plugin. So, look for more improvements in the near future!
