ScholarPress has been awarded a Digital Humanities Start-Up grant!
Thanks to the National Endowment for the Humanities and their Office of Digital Humanities, we'll be improving some of our existing plugins, and creating a few new plugins, over the coming academic year, including:
- Courseware – Updating this plugin to include easier data entry for schedules and assignments, and tying the bibliogrpahy more closely to services like Zotero.
- Vitaware – Integrates with the Zotero CV builder and your Zotero library. Will pull in your publications, conference papers, or any other designated collections from Zotero. You’ll also be able to create different CVs depending on need or audience.
- Researcher – Uses APIs from Zotero, Delicious, Google Reader, just to name a few, to pull in a scholar’s research, to easily add footnotes/endnotes to WordPress blog posts and static pages or share bibliographies. Designed so humanists can organize and disseminate their scholarship digitally, which traditionally they haven't done well compared to the sciences.
